What is Sixtyone7

Welcome to SixtyOne7.

My name is Jen Patin, and this space is where I tell my story, the whole story and share the healing journey I’ve been on over the years. Here you’ll find a mix of personal reflections, process pieces, and letters written along the way. I will be releasing some now, and more starting in January.

What is SixtyOne7?

For me, it’s a promise.

Isaiah 61 has been a significant chapter in my life for many reasons, but verse 7 is the one I felt God speak directly over my story:

“Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”

Isaiah 61:7

This verse has become a beacon throughout my healing, a reminder that God not only restores, but multiplies. My story has carried deep pain, and I’ll be sharing more of that in the posts ahead. But even in the darkest moments, God has returned me again and again to this promise:

He will heal, and He will bring the double portion.

And I believe He can do the same for you.

Everything I share here is my experience, my thoughts, and my honest recollection to the best of my ability. My posts include themes of sexual violation and church harm. If you’ve walked through either, I gently invite you to read at your own pace and with care for your heart.

Thank you for being here.

Truly.
